Exploration of Mars
In
2030, a 200 metric ton
spacecraft that could take people to Mars in days. Mars space flights are
estimated to cost $20 million per person. If the cost of equipment and
supplies for three month are included, the estimated cost is $5 billion
compared to NASA estimates of about $500 billion. NASAs technology is
very inefficiency. The mass of spacecraft divided by the mass of the launch
vehicle is about 1% efficient compared to 98% efficiency for Mirror
Propulsion Spacecraft.
We are working on 200 Metric
Ton manned Mars Spacecraft that will enable scientists to begin exploring Mars
in 2028. A Mars Task Force needs to be established to determine what the
scientific community really wants to do once they land on Mars.

Key Milestones
are to start design in 2026, manufacture in 2027, flight test in 2029,
and manned exploration of the Mars in 2030.
We estimate that the spacecraft
would take four to seven days to travel to Mars, another four to seven days to orbit
Mars and find desirable areas to explore, three months for surface exploration, and
then another three to seven days to return to Earth. Manned shuttlecraft would
enable people to explore numerous locations on Mars that could include dropping
off experiments.
