Conventional
Spacecraft
We plan to send a rocket launched spacecraft into comet's tails to
harvest antimatter
or
mirror matter that is being blasted off comets by the solar wind and
dust particles.
A spacecraft will be designed and constructed to
harvest
five to ten
grams of
mirror matter (mass of one to two nickels) from the comets like the 9P/Tempel 1 Comet. The
spacecraft
incorporates over thirty-five years of antimatter research and
technology. The
major issue with obtaining financing. The
spacecraft design will be modeled and tested before the full scale spacecraft is
constructed, tested and launched on a rocket.
A second spacecraft will
retrieve the Penning
Traps containing mirror matter and safely return the it to Earth.
Mirror matter will
be sold for $10 million per milligram to universities and national
research laboratories compared to $36 trillion per milligram to make it. Since a milligram quantities are equivalent to the effective energy of
the Space Shuttle, NASA will also be interested . The ten grams of antimatter are estimated to be
worth $100 billion.
The next generation of spacecraft will
use Mirror Energy space propulsion. The spacecraft be sent into
comet's tails and continuously harvest and store mirror matter. The second
spacecraft will retrieve
mirror matter from the
spacecraft's Penning Traps and bring it back to Earth. Each new generation of
spacecraft will be capable of obtaining larger quantities of
mirror matter
.
