China
Clean Energy Plan
China is on the road to becoming a
World Class country.
China
is world's most populous country in the World, the fast-growing economy, and
the largest
energy consumer and producer in the world. They have rapidly increasing energy
demand, especially for liquid fuels, has made China extremely influential in
world energy markets.
The China Clean Energy Plan (2010 - 2050) would produce clean, efficient energy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions levels to
less than 4 billion metric tons. Hydroelectric,
geothermal, solar, and wind would continue to supply energy needs. China?s
overall energy efficiency would increase to 70%. Coal, oil, biomass, and natural gas, which are being burned and destroying Earth?s environment, would be used to make products.
An estimated 1,400
Clean
Energy Plants would be
need. The actual number of power plants would be dependent upon the
size. China's population would expected to grow from 1,380 to 1,410 billion people.
The graphs show how China's current dependence on fossil fuels would
change by building and operating clean power plants. China's Energy
Consumption (blue) grows for about twenty years and levels off about 86
Trillion Kilowatt-hours. The
U.S. Energy Information Administration
Projects the China Energy Consumption (pink) would continue to grow
based upon using carbon energy.

China
Energy Consumption by U.S.
Energy Information Administration
The
graph shows the
dramatic reduction in carbon dioxide emissions (blue). There would be an
increase during the conversion from carbon to clean energy and decrease to about
four billion metric tons. According to Energy Information Administration?s projections, China's carbon dioxide
emissions would increase to 15 billion metric tons or difference of 11 Billion
metric tons..

If
government, business, and education leaders can
work collegiately together as they did with the establishment of the
Internet, clean
energy efficient
electrical power and transportation will create
enormous environmental benefits and economic opportunities.
Companies will be manufacturing
consumer and industrial products from
the 4 billion tons of coal, 3.8 billions barrels of oil, and billion
barrels of biomass rather than burning them and destroying our
environment. Since oil is more expensive than oil, oil refiners
could be converted into coal refiners for making petrochemicals. Biomass
programs, which burn food, would be eliminated and the food supplied
to million of starving people.
The
China?s Clean Energy Economy grows to over $140 trillion in forty
years and the Space Economy would grow to over $7 trillion. Power
plants generate clean energy and carbon dioxide emissions are reduced by
4.5 billion metric tons. Billion of jobs would
be stimulating China?s economy. However,
the
real benefits would come from taking millions of people out of poverty,
providing them an opportunity for World-Class education, and empowering
them to live out their dreams.
