Dr. Michael D Griffin, NASA Administrator
about a new source of energy. Mirror Energy is the most efficient energy source
in the Universe and is going to replace oil and coal as World�s Primary source
of Energy. The energy is created by bringing matter and antimatter together and
equals the mass times the speed of light squared or Einstein's famous equation,
E = mc2. Antimatter is a mirror image of matter and comes from
comets.
The
mass of a nickel (coin) could take 250 Space Shuttle or 100-ton spacecraft on
250 trips into Earth orbit. The spacecraft could take off and land at any
international airport just like an airplane.
The
mass of nickel could also operate a 100-megawatt power plant for three months.
When the price of antimatter is $1 million per gram, the fuel cost to operate
the power plant would be 2 cents per kilowatt-hour.
Off-peak electrical power will be used to produce hydrogen for motor vehicles
and oxygen for commercial applications. Hydrogen and oxygen will become two
new sources of income for electrical power companies.
We informed him that we have requested FAA Commercial Space Transportation's
approval to send a spacecraft into 9P/Tempel 1 Comet's tails to mine five to
ten grams of antimatter that is being blasted off the comet by the solar dust
particles. The antimatter would be sold for $10 million per milligram to U.S.
universities and national laboratories compared to $36 trillion per milligram
for making it.
