ComEd/Exelon Protective Relaying

On May 10, 2006, the President plans to attend
the IEEE Power Engineering Society Dinner meeting. The meeting will take
held at Exelon/Commonwealth Edison, ComEd Commercial Center, Oak Brook.
Greg Kelm, ComEd/Exelon Energy Delivery, will be talking about "Protective
Relaying" and discussing protective relaying with emphasis on utility
transmission and substation equipment protection. Specific topics for
discussion will include design criteria, types of relays including
advantages and disadvantages of each, as well as application of protective
relay schemes for protection of transmission and substation equipment.
