Norm Hansen attended
2007 Strategic Space & Defense Conference on October 9 - 11, 2007 in Omaha,
Nebraska and meet leaders in the military and industrial space community. He
had the
opportunity to visit with the Commander of the U.S. Strategic Command and
provide him a copy of the book, �Mirror Matter Pioneering Antimatter
Physics� by Robert Forward and Joel Davis. The book was based upon an U.S.
Air Force funded study that was completed 20 years ago.
All
the participants were given copies of the 2006 Space Report, Guide to Global
Space Activities
www.TheSpaceReport.com showing $186 billion had been spent in 2005 on
space activities. The Commercial Satellite Services supports the $1.4
trillion Global Telecommunication Market. The space satellite communication
component represents 50 percent of the total space spending. In 2006, space
spending is projected to be $220 billion or 18% increase from the previous
