World Carbon
Energy Plan

Carbon Energy Plan (2010 � 2050) was developed to show the
devastating impacts if fossil fuels were used to bring every country into
the 21st century.
Energy consumption would increase by a factor of six. Carbon
dioxide emissions would increase from 33 billion metric tons to 200
billion metric tons. This alternative is clearly unacceptable.
